Carlson McCain, Inc. is a full-service consulting firm specializing in environmental, engineering, and land surveying services. We are currently looking for a full-time mid- to senior-level scientist/project manager who specializes in Phase I Environmental Site Assessments to lead our due diligence services. Work includes technical reviews and approvals of Phase I ESA, Property Condition Assessments, Regulatory Reviews, and much more. We are looking for the right person to lead a group of 2 to 3 people while preparing for future growth. The position will require business development responsibilities, senior review to ensure report accuracy, and mentorship and learning opportunities for our junior level staff. This position will also require, from time to time, completion of Phase I ESA and/or PCA inspections, report authoring, and other projects based on the workflow needs. Familiarity with Quire is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in environmental studies, environmental science, geography, natural resources, physical sciences, or related fields

  • 7+ years of experience conducting Phase I ESAs and preparing reports
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex data
  • Exceptional communication skills and strong technical writing skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing the highest quality work
  • Strong work ethic with a resilient, results-driven attitude
  • Ability and drive to meet tough deadlines
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000 – $90,000 per year (based on level of experience)
